Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 4GB RAM, Iris Scanner Announced

Samsung just announced its flagship Galaxy Note 7 smartphone at its Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in New York. It is available in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx. The smartphone will be available starting August 19.

The biggest highlight of the Galaxy Note 7 is its iris scanner. It also sports a dual edge display, and an improved S Pen with waterproofing abilities. It has 3D glass and metal design and IP68 ratings water and dust resistance.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) (518ppi) Super AMOLED curved dual edge display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 powered by Octa-Core Exynos 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad), 64 bit, 14 nm processor / Quad Core Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It has an internal storage of 64GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 256GB. It sports a 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, dual-pixel PDAF, Smart OIS and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has 3500 mAh battery with fast charging.
