Apart from Xiaomi Mi 4S, Xiaomi has launched Mi 5 smartphone at an event in China. It is available in Black, White and Gold colors. The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available in three versions - standard edition featuring 3GB LPDD4 RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 21,000); high version featuring 3GB LPDD4 RAM and 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 24,000), and exclusive edition featuring 4GB LPDD4 RAM and 128GB storage priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 28,000). Mi 5 will also go on sale in China starting March 1.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features 5.15-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD display with curved glass powered by Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB/64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 4MP front facing camera with 2um pixel size. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top and has 3000 mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
