Xiaomi has launched Mi 4S smartphone at an event in Beijing, China. It is available in White, Black, Gold, Purple and limited edition Pink colors and is priced at CNY 1699 (approximately Rs. 18,000). It will be available in China starting from March 1st.
The company says that the Xiaomi Mi 4S is an update to the Mi 4. It sports front and rear glass panels, apart from a metal build. The biggest addition touted by the company is the fingerprint scanner. The smartphone supports dual-4G LTE standby with VoLTE support.
Xiaomi 4S features 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS fully laminated display powered by Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 64GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top and has 3260 mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
