OnePlus has announced OnePlus X smartphone invite free in India starting midnight, February 5, 2016. Users will be able to purchase any of the OnePlus X variant - Onyx Black, Champagne Gold, and limited edition Ceramic from Amazon India.
"The invite system has been crucial to letting us scale our operations and has given our fans a unique way to share our brand story with the people in their lives." the company said in a press statement. "It has been our constant endeavour to enhance the smartphone experience for all of you in taking risks by pushing ourselves and showing real improvements. That's why we're making the OnePlus X invite-free, forever, for a more cheerful buying experience."
OnePlus X features 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB RAM . It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 128GB. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Oxygen OS 2.1 on top and has 2525 mAh battery.
