Just ahead of MWC 2016, Meizu and Canonical has partnered to introduce Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition. Canonical says the smartphone price and other availability details will be revealed at the upcoming MWC 2016. It will be up for pre-orders during the trade show.
Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition features 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Samsung Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU and 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 21.6 MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, PDAF and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Ubuntu OS and has 3050 mAh battery.
