Facebook recently enabled the auto video playing feature and I find this auto Video playing in too annoying. The video simply starts playing while you are scrolling your news feed. Unless you have fast internet or you love watching lots and lots of videos, this feature is just a waste of your data.
So, if you find this feature annoying you can change some settings and stop this auto play feature in your account. This feature is available for both mobile and desktop users. Here are some steps which you need to follow to change the settings.
If you are using Facebook in desktop
- Go to the settings page in Facebook (After you are logged in)
- Click on video (which is the last option in your settings page)
- Click on the Auto-Play Videos drop down menu to save your choice

- Open Facebook App and tap the three horizontal line icon next to notification
- Now scroll down and tap App settings
- Now tap Video play automatically
- Now select your choice and save it
