Sony Xperia M5 Launched with 21.5 MP Camera with Hybrid AF, 3GB RAM

Sony has launched its latest smartphone in the M series dubbed Sony Xperia M5. It is available in Gold, Black and White colors. The smartphone will start rolling out from mid August. No word on the pricing so far.

The smartphone uses Hybrid Auto Focus. Hybrid AF combines two technologies for outstanding performance: Phase detection AF for quick response and Contrast detection AF for added precision. It is also water and dust-proof (IP65/IP68) with a cap-less USB port.

Sony Xperia M5 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 powered by 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 200GB. It sports a 21.5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 13MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has 2600 mAh battery.
