Soon after unveiling the name for Android "M" - Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google has launched a standalone website for Hangout.
Jordanna Chord, in a Google+ post said, "We are launching another way to use Hangouts today. From our new site you'll be able to take advantage of the best of Hangouts in the browser, along with an inspiring image to get you through the day. Check it out and let us know what you think".
The website offers all the features that are present on Gmail and Google+ like users can carry multiple conversations and make a voice or video calls. The chats pop up in the same way as they do in Gmail, when a conversation is clicked from the list shown on the left side of the new website.
Back in April, Facebook had launched the standlone website for its messenger.
Visit https://hangouts.google.com/ to experience the new Hangout features on web.
