Now Moto E 1st Gen starts receiving Android 5.1 Lollipop in India. Couple of days back Motorola had rolled out Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Moto E 2nd Gen 4G LTE devices in United States.
The update for Moto E 1st Gen also which comes as build 23.11.15. Users in India will be getting an OTA update. If you haven't received the notification, then please go to Settings > About phone > Software update and check for your update.
