Microsoft launched Microsoft Lumia 540 a new mid-range smartphone priced at $150 (roughly Rs. 9,361). It is available in layered Cyan, Orange, White and Matte Black colors. The smartphone will start rolling out early next month to India, Middle East, Africa (IMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) countries. Apart from the 8GB internal storage you also get gets 15GB OneDrive cloud storage by default and additional 15GB storage if auto-upload to OneDrive is activated.
Microsoft Lumia 540 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS LCD display powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 128GB. It sports a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP wide-angle front facing camera. It sports a Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim ehich is upgradable to the Windows 10 and has 2200 mAh battery.
