ZTE Grand S3 Launched with Eyeprint ID unlocking and 3GB RAM

ZTE has launched the successor of ZTE Grand S II in Mobile World Congress 2015. The main highlight of ZTE Grand S3 is its Eyeprint ID password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution from EyeVerify. It works by imaging unique vein patterns in the human eye using the smartphone’s front facing camera, says the company. It is available in Black color and is priced at 2999 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 29,500 approx). No word on global roll out but it is already on sale in China.

ZTE Grand S3 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) OGS display powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage og 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 64GB. It sports a 16MP auto focus camera with dual LED Flash and a 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 3100 mAh battery.
