Xiaomi had run a contest on its India Facebook page which features a word puzzle which featured words such as 'Snapdragon,' 'QuickCharge' and 'expandable' which suggest that Xiaomi is about to launch Redmi 2. Now Xiaomi has posted a tweet saying, "Please join us tomorrow for the unveiling of our next device". So far no details about the pricing of the device. Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916 ) 64-bit processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v6 on top and has 2200 mAh battery.
