Apple Rolls Out Two-Step Authentication for iMessage and FaceTime

Apple adds  two step authentication for iMessage and FaceTime to prevent anyone from accessing or using your account, even if they know your password.

The two-step authentication or verification security feature adds an extra layer of protection against hackers, and Apple notes "two-step verification is an additional security feature for your Apple ID that's designed to prevent anyone from accessing or using your account, even if they know your password."

Once you enable this feature, you will be receiving security code through SMS which you need to enter after entering your username and password.

If you want to enable this feature just Go to My Apple ID, Select Manage your Apple ID and sign in, Select Password and Security and Under Two-Step Verification, select Get Started and follow the onscreen instructions
