Micromax Canvas Express Launched at Rs. 6,999

Micromax launched Micromax Canvas Express in India with a price Rs. 6,999. It will be exclusively available through e-commerce online website Flipkart from starting December 8.

Micromax Canvas Express features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) display and it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad-core CPU and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. It sports  a 5-Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It runs on  Android 4.4 KitKat and has 1950 mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Express comes preloaded with apps like HotKnot (MediaTek's NFC-like solution) and Smart Wake. With the former, users can tap screen-to-screen for sharing images, videos, music and browsing URLs. With Smart Wake the Canvas Express users can open apps with customised gestures directly from the lockscreen.
