Huawei Honor 6 Plus with 5.5-inch Display and Dual 8MP rear cameras launched

Huawei launched the Honor 6 Plus at an event in China.

Huawei Honor 6 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display powered by octa-core Kirin 925 processor with Mali T628 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB/ 32GB and can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. It sports a dual 8-megapixel cameras on the back with dual LED flashes and a 5MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 on top and has 3600mAh battery.

The Honor 6 Plus camera sensors are said by the company to capture 13-megapixel resolution images with twice the amount of light as compared to a single sensor, take 0.1 seconds to autofocus, and use SLR-grade ISP technology. The smartphone also offers a number of image editing effects, as reported by Gizmo China. The front-facing camera is said to bear a 5-megapixel sensor for video chatting and other purposes.

Huawei Honor 6 Plus is available in Black, White and Gold colors.  It is priced at  1999 yuan ( US$ 325 / Rs. 20,650 approx.) for the 16GB 3G variant and the 32GB 4G LTE variant with NFC costs 2499 yuan ( US$ 400 / Rs. 25,830 approx.)
